Replication Agent captures transactions in a primary database and sends them to a Replication Server for distribution to replicate targets.
Replication Agent extends the capabilities of Replication Server by allowing non-Sybase data servers to act as primary data servers in a replication system based on Sybase replication technology.
Replication Agent supports data replication from Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM DB2 UDB installed on UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft Windows.
