System Architecture

There are multiple components required to implement an Microsoft SQL Server-to-SAP HANA Database replication system.

A primary Microsoft SQL Server data server
A replicate SAP HANA database
A Replication Server (with ExpressConnect for HANA DB)
The Replication Server Options components:
- Replication Agent for Microsoft SQL Server
