Additional error messages and behavior differ for replication synchronization and messaging
synchronization.
Explanation: This may indicate the SAP Mobile Server is
down or unreachable.
- For replication synchronization clients, if the device
attempts to synchronize with the SAP Mobile Server but the
SAP Mobile Server is down, the device receives a
SynchronizationException indicating a SQLE_COMMUNICATIONS_ERROR.
- For messaging synchronization clients, the
SAP Messaging Client will keep retrying
the request. The request will be handled when the SAP Mobile Server restarts.
Solution: Report that SAP Mobile Server is down, or wait
for it to come back online.
