Stale Version of SAP Control Center After Upgrade

Problem: after upgrading SAP Mobile Platform and relaunching SAP Control Center through a Web browser, a stale version of SAP Control Center loads in the browser. RSL Error "1 of 3" along with "Error code: 2032" appears upon launching the SAP Control Center URL.

Explanation: Adobe® Flash® Player caches the earlier version of SAP Control Center locally, preventing you from logging in to the correct version of SAP Control Center when accessing the browser.

Solution 1: Clear the Adobe Flash Player cache:

  1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects, and delete all files in this folder.

As an alternative to manually deleting files, you can access the Adobe Flash Player Cache Cleanup URL: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html. Use the Website Storage settings panel to change storage capacity, or delete Websites to clean up the cache.

You can access the tool from Adobe Flash Player online help (scroll to the "Website Storage Settings panel" link): http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/disable-local-shared-objects-flash.html.

Solution 2: Only perform this solution if Solution 1 does not solve the problem. Clear browser history:

  1. In Microsoft Internet Explorer, select Tools > Internet Options > General > Delete... and delete all temporary files, history, cookies, saved passwords, and Web form information.
