You can use the generic header in the HTTP request to send any type of notification.
Unless you require platform-specific features in your notification (for example, the display
of a button with specific text), you can more easily use the generic header.
- <x-sup-data> – The notification data. Delivers the message via pure native
push channel (user selects "only native push").
- <x-sup-data-payload> – Passes the message via the SAP Mobile Platform channel.
SAP Mobile Platform interprets the <x-sup-data>
header for each device type as follows:
- APNS: custom payload data values that use the JSON structured and primitive
types: dictionary (object), array, string, number, and Boolean.
- GCM: payload data, expressed as parameters prefixed with data and suffixed as
the key.
- Blackberry: a binary value (base64 encoded).
