(Required only for
manual connection registrations) Use
SAP Control Center
to
manually
register an
in-bound
application
connection.
- In the left navigation pane, click the
Applications node.
- In the right administration pane, click the
Application Connections tab.
- Click
Register to register a new in-bound application
connection. The application is paired with a user and a device using the
Activation Code supplied.
- In
Register
Application
Connection:
- Enter
name of the user
making
the request from a particular device.
- Select the
template
to assign
theapplication.
The template you use supplies initial values in the subsequent
fields.
- Default – a default template that you can use
as is, or customize.
- HWC – a default template for
Hybrid Web Container.
Use as is, or customize. If you use the HWC template,
set
the Application ID
to
HWC.
- Custom –
select
from a list of custom templates.
- Change the default field values for the template you have
chosen. If you are using the default template, you must provide the server
name.
- Click
OK.
