Enabling Application Activation with SAP Control Center

Application activation is the end result of the series of events by which a user can start consuming data or using platform services. Application activation is enabled by the administrator using SAP Control Center, then triggered by the application user upon a first connection attempt.

Prerequisites
Deploy packages and seed devices before the application initiates a connection. See Stage 2: Deploy and Stage 3: Provision for details.
Task
The process by which activation occurs varies depending on the type of connection registration used: automatic, manual, or anonymous. However, administration activities comprise a key set of tasks.
