Cache and Device Consistency

Cache data changes are passsed on to applications based on the change detectiion interval of the synchronization group.

Synchronization groups are made up of MBOs that have similar synchronization requirements. Each synchronization group has a change detection interval that determines how often changes to data for the MBOs in that group are sent to applications.

For changes to be sent, applications must be subscribed to the data. For messaging-based applications, changes are sent through a message. For replication-based applications, changes are sent through either an online or a native push notification. Online notifications push payload or business data from the EIS. Native notifications push data changes from the EIS. To use native push notifications, you must set up third-party environments to channel notifications from SAP Mobile Server.
