Adding the Certificate Authority Certificate to the Device's Trusted Certificate Store

If the Certificate Authority (CA) that signed the server's certificate is unknown to the client device (the CA certificate is not in the device's list of trusted root certificates), you must add the CA certificate to the device's trusted certificate store.
