Agentry applications handle data modeling and development in a single task. The developer creates Object, Transaction, and Synchronization definitions within the application project using the Agentry Editor’s 4GL development interface.
Synchronization logic, referenced by the synchronization definitions, is developed in the language which corresponds to the enterprise information system the mobile application extends. This can include Java interfaces or API’s; database systems using SQL; web services via web (CGI) requests that return structured XML data parsed by the Agentry Server using XPaths; and the host system upon which the SAP Mobile Platform in general, and Agentry Server specifically, is installed.
