Each server in the multiplex uses several files to store data, metadata, and configuration information.

This is the IQ temporary store. This file exists only if the temporary file is added as an OS file. The IQ_SYSTEM_TEMP store can be on either a raw device or a system file. |
dbname.log |
File that contains the database transaction log. This cannot be a raw device. |
dbname.lmp |
License management property file. Creating a database generates this file automatically. Dropping a database deletes all database files except this one. |
