JRE and licensing changes were introduced in SAP Sybase IQ 16.0 SP03. If
you are updating from an earlier release or support package, you must run the ALTER DATABASE
UPGRADE command.
Note: The previous support package—SP2—was released only on Linux. Support package SP03
includes functionality introduced in previous support packages. If you installed SP03 on
IBM AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, or Windows, see the 16.0 SP2 New Features Summary
section of this document for additional new features, performance enhancements, and
behavior changes new to your platform.
