Behavior Changes in SP03

SAP Sybase IQ 16.0 SP03 introduces encryption-related behavior changes.

Note: The previous support package—SP2—was released only on Linux. If you installed SP03 on IBM AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, or Windows, see the Behavior Changes in SP2 section of this document for additional behavior changes new to your platform.

FIPS Encryption Support
As of 16.0 SP03, SAP Sybase IQ no longer supports FIPS encryption on the IBM AIX, HP-UX, or Linux POWER platforms.
Advanced Security Option Requirement for FIPS and RSA
SAP Sybase IQ no longer requires the Advanced Security Option for FIPS and RSA encryption support.
