In previous releases, the QUERY_PLAN option was ON by default,
meaning that every query generated a query plan regardless of the size of the query. In
SAP Sybase IQ
16.0, use the new QUERY_PLAN_MIN_TIME
option when QUERY_PLAN is ON to prevent the server from generating query
plans for micro queries, resulting in a database server performance improvement.
