A single dbspace for the IQ temporary store, IQ_SYSTEM_TEMP, is created when you create or upgrade a database.
Each dbspace may contain any number of files. The only limit is that the total number of IQ files is 16383.
Ensure that the IQ_SYSTEM_TEMP dbspace is at least as large as the value specified in the -iqtc server option of the start_iq utility.
