Unwired Platform Runtime Requirements

Host systems must be provisioned to meet Unwired Platform Runtime requirements before installing Unwired Platform Runtime components. Some components require the installation of third-party software.

• Unwired Server Requirements
  Each Unwired Server host must meet the requirements for operating system, hardware, and available disk space.
• Data Tier Requirements
  Each data tier host must meet the requirements for operating system, hardware, and available disk space.
• System Landscape Directory Requirements
  The System Landscape Directory (SLD) host must be compatible with specific SAP® products. SLD is a central repository of system landscape information used to manage the software life cycle when Sybase Unwired Platform is deployed as part of a larger SAP® landscape. Sybase Unwired Platform must be registered with the SLD to be recognized by the SAP system.
• Relay Server Requirements
  Each Relay Server host must meet the requirements for operating system, hardware, and available disk space.
• Sybase Control Center Requirements
  Each host used as a Sybase Control Center client must have the required third-party applications installed. Sybase Control Center is supported on Windows only.
• Supported Afaria Versions
  Each Afaria® server host must meet the requirements for operating system, hardware, and available disk space. See the Afaria documentation for system requirements.
• BlackBerry Enterprise Server Requirements
  Each RIM BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) must meet the requirements for operating system, hardware, and available disk space. See the RIM BES documentation for system requirements.
• Certified LDAP Servers
  LDAP servers certified for use with Sybase Unwired Platform.
• Supported LoadRunner Versions
  LoadRunner must meet the requirements for integration with Sybase Unwired Platform LoadRunner Extension.
• Supported Introscope Enterprise Manager Versions
  Introscope Enterprise Managers must meet the requirements for integration with Introscope Agents installed with Sybase Unwired Platform.
• Supported SAP Solution Manager Versions
  SAP Solution Manager, used to provide monitoring and support for all SAP products in your landscape, must meet the requirements for and be appropriately configured to integrate with Sybase Unwired Platform.
• CTS Requirements
  To use the SAP Change and Transport System (CTS) to transport Sybase Unwired Platform development artifacts, your landscape must include components that interact with Unwired Platform components.

  The JDK Version provided with installation is supported.
