Review the supported application development environments, operating systems, and hardware, and review the tested devices.

Supported Application Development Environments

  • Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and Mac OS X 10.7.5 (Lion)
  • Xcode 4.6, 4.5, 4.3, 4.3.2, and 4.3.1
  • iOS SDK 6.1, 6.0 and 5.x

Supported Device Operating Systems

  • Apple iOS 7.0 (supported in Apple's Backward Compatibility mode)
  • Apple iOS 6.1.x
  • Apple iOS 6.0.1
  • Apple iOS 5.1
  • Apple iOS 5.0

Supported Hardware

The recommended minimum hardware configuration is:
  • iPhone 3GS

Tested Devices

Unless otherwise noted, all devices are supported. These devices have been tested by Sybase:

  • iPhone 5 on Apple iOS 5.0
  • iPhone 4S on Apple iOS 6.1.x
  • iPhone 3GS on Apple iOS 5.1
  • iPad Mini on Apple iOS 6.0.1
  • iPad on Apple iOS 5.1
