Sybase supports Sybase Unwired Platform running in a virtualization system
environment if:
- The virtualization system environment is officially certified and
approved by the corresponding operating system platform vendor.
- The operating system running in the virtual machine is officially
certified by Sybase.
- The real hardware resources within the virtualization system are properly sized
according to the virtualization system vendor's recommendation and properly
managed so that it is not overloaded with other virtualized systems.
Note: If Sybase is unable to reproduce an
issue, the customer may be asked to reproduce the problem running natively on the
certified operating system, without the use of a virtualization
system.
Sybase does not guarantee the performance
for any Sybase products running on virtual machines.
