Problem Resolution

Sybase Control Center installation directory, SCC-3_2, cannot be removed

The Windows uninstaller fails to remove the Sybase Control Center installation directory (C:\Sybase\SCC-3_2 by default). Manual attempt to delete the directory fails saying that the files could not be deleted.

To remove the directory:
  1. Find:

    <SCC-install_dir>\services\EmbeddedWebContainer\container\Jetty-6.1.22\work\Jetty_0_0_0_0_8282_help.war__help__.smpe97

  2. Change the name of Jetty_0_0_0_0_8282_help.war__help__.smpe97 to a single character, such as j.
  3. Retry deleting the Sybase Control Center installation directory.
