Upgrading Online Data Proxy to Unwired Platform Runtime

This installation scenario upgrades a single-server Online Data Proxy installation to a single-server Unwired Platform Runtime installation. Online Data Proxy cannot be installed in a cluster configuration. When upgraded to Unwired Platform Runtime, it remains a single server installation.

  1. Preparing to Upgrade
    Ensure that Online Data Proxy is currently installed on the target host and that you have a license file for Unwired Platform Runtime.
  2. Selecting Installation Options
    Start the Sybase Unwired Platform Runtime installer, accept the end user license agreement, and confirm the upgrade.
  3. Completing the Upgrade
    Review the installation summary and launch the installation process.
