Host Platform Provisioning

Host systems must be provisioned to meet Unwired Platform server host requirements.

All Unwired Platform server hosts must meet the requirements specified in Supported Hardware and Software for:

Minimum host resources (CPU, RAM, and local storage space)
Operating system (including edition, version, and Service Pack)

Note: In a single-node design, resources of the host system must be adequate to support all of the applications and services included in all Unwired Platform server components. Local disk resources must be adequate to support all databases managed by the data tier servers.

For adequate performance in an enterprise system scenario, a single-node system may require more substantial host resources than would any individual host in a multi-node system.
