There are two Command and Control executables: esp_cnc, and esp_client.
- esp_cnc –
executes individual control commands.
This utility is supplied with the source,
to serve as an example of writing client applications.
- esp_client –
queries metadata,
injects rows of data,
makes stream snapshots,
and controls a running
Event Stream Processor Server instance.
It also stops the
ESP Server,
fetches the list of streams and their definitions,
and
determines the host and port of the Gateway interface.
