Installing SQL Anywhere as an IQ InfoPrimer Repository

SQL Anywhere 11 is installed and configured when you install IQ InfoPrimer Development. It is recommended version for use as an IQ InfoPrimer repository. SQL Anywhere 11 is also packaged with IQ InfoPrimer Server and can be manually installed.

Note: SQL Anywhere 11 is not supported on Linux PPC64 platforms.

If you are using a repository other than SQL Anywhere from an earlier version of ETL, you must migrate your existing ETL repository to SQL Anywhere 11.

Note: Each SQL Anywhere database can support only one IQ InfoPrimer repository. You may encounter errors if multiple schemas in a SQL Anywhere database contain multiple sets of repository tables.

After installing SQL Anywhere, you must configure the SQL Anywhere ODBC drivers.

See the SQL Anywhere documentation installed by the SQL Anywhere installer, for information on how to set up a repository database.
