DB Data Sink Update component updates or overwrites all records that match a selected key. This component does not insert new records. If there are no matching records, DB Data Sink Update does not display an error message.
If the update values violate any restrictions of the underlying table or object, such as constraints, referential integrity, or unique index definition, you see an error message. The selected key value attribute is independent of any existing index definitions.
