Status Icons

Sybase Control Center uses icons to indicate the status of resources and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Resource status icons indicate the condition of each resource in the heat chart. In addition, they are used as badges (small overlays) on server icons in both the heat chart and the Perspective Resources view. The Perspective Resources view also has a Status column that displays the same status as the badge in English text.

Running120 resource status icon Running Resource is up and running
Pending120 resource status icon Pending State is changing—check again
Stopped120 resource status icon Stopped Resource has been shut down
Warning resource status icon Warning Resource has encountered a potentially harmful situation
Critical KPI state icon Error Resource has encountered a serious problem
Unknown120 resource status icon Unknown Resource is unreachable—state cannot be determined

The heat chart uses KPI status icons to indicate the health of the KPIs it displays.

Normal KPI state Normal Value of performance indicator is within the normal range
Warning KPI state icon Warning Value of performance indicator is in the warning range
Critical KPI state icon Critical Value of performance indicator is in the critical range
