Adding a Project to a Git Repository

Add a project to a Git repository to share the project.

Prerequisites
The system administrator must have provided the necessary Git elements for adding a project to the repository: Repository, Working directory, and Path within repository.
Task
  1. In the Authoring perspective, right-click a project from the File Explorer view.
    Studio displays a pop-up menu.
  2. Select Team > Share Project.
    Studio displays the Share Project screen.
  3. Select Git as the repository type.
  4. Click Next.
    Studio displays the Enter Repository Location Information screen.
  5. Enter the following information:
    • Repository – Provide the name of the repository.
    • Working directory – Provide the directory where the project files are located.
    • Path within repository – Provide the path within the repository where the project files will be found.
  6. Click Finish.
    The project is added to the Git repository.
