If you install Open Server in the silent or console mode, which uses a response/options “template” type file, the installation can fail. However, you can use one of the following interactive modes in the InstallShield interface to install Open Server:
GUI mode, which allows you to install the components using the InstallShield GUI windows
Console mode (without using the responsefile), which allows you to install the components in a non-GUI, command-line environment
