Configuring the State Indicator

Use a state indicator to represent records that are in certain states—new, changed, or pending.

You can assign multiple images to the state. The actual image shown on the device client depends on the state of the associated record.

  1. In the Image Item configuration dialog, next to the State option, click Configure.
  2. In the State Indicator dialog, next to the state you want to configure, click Search.
    By default, a blue dot for New, a purple dot for Changed, and an orange dot for Pending is assigned. You can change the images to something else, or you can choose to show no icon for a certain state. However, at least one image should be specified.
  3. In the Image Selection dialog, select the image you want to assign to the indicated state and click OK.
  4. When you are finished configuring the state indicators, click OK.
