Use the Properties view to configure the context item.

| Context item name | Display name of the context item. The name must be unique within a context table and must not be an empty string. |
| Use variable | Select this checkbox to associate the
text of the context item to an existing variable. When selected, the context item
name field is disabled and the context item name depends on the value of
the selected variable.
Click Browse to select the variable with which to associate the context item. |
| Context item type | The type of the context item. Choose from Create, Update, Delete, Details, Relationship, or Other. |
| Default context item for the table | Select to make the context item the default context item to use when a table is acted upon on the device. For the BlackBerry Storm this is a touch or click and for other non-touch BlackBerry devices, it is a wheel-click. |
