Adding Cell Items to Cell Labels

Use the configuration dialog to add cell items. Cell labels consist of one or more cell items.

  1. Drag and drop the the Cell label from the Palette onto the cell table. The configuration dialog opens.
    You can also open the configuration dialog by clicking Edit in the Properties view for the cell label.
  2. Click Add to create a new cell label item.
  3. In the Label Item configuration dialog, select from these options:
    Option Description
    Mobile business object attribute This option is enabled only if the cell table is bound to a mobile business object (MBO) with at least one attribute of a non-binary data type.
    Variable Click Search to open the Variable Selection dialog. Only non-binary variable types are listed for table context variables.
    Literal A cell label with one literal item, where the literal item is an empty string, can be used as a spacer.
  4. Click OK.
  5. To edit a label item, select a label item from the table and click Edit.
  6. To delete a label item, select a label item from the table and click Remove.
  7. Change the order of label items by selecting a label item and clicking either Move Up or Move Down.
  8. Preview the label text in Label text preview.
  9. When you are finished, click OK.
