Settings Screens

Settings screens are default screens provided by Unwired Platform that consist of some of the most commonly used settings screens for device applications.

Only settings screens with settings supported by the selected profile are shown in the palette. Settings screens are not connected to other screens in the Flow Design.

Note: Some settings screens take effect only after restarting the application, for example, the Profile settings screen.
Screen Description
About Use to design your own "About screen," that can contain information like version, copyright, author and so on.
Profile Use this screen to list and define connection profiles to the data sources.

If you change connection information in the profile settings, such as the domain, server, or port, you must drop and re-create the data source to which the profile points, otherwise, the profile will point to the wrong data source.

Note: The Profile settings screen is not supported for messaging-based applications.
Push Settings Use this screen to configure push HTTP notifications.
Note: The Push settings screen is not supported on messaging_based applications.
Screen Saver The screen saver screen requires a login screen since it locks out with a password, based on a user's inactivity.
Note: The screen saver screen is not supported on the Windows Mobile platform.
Logging Configure the amount of client log you want to see on the client, by setting debug levels to Off, Fatal, Error, Warning, Information, and Debug.

When set to Off, you do not see the log. The Debug level shows the most amount of information in the client log. It also specifies the label for the default log level.

It can be configured to remove logs for both the client and server log after exiting the application.

You can also specify the label for the default log level.
