Configuring the Initial Object Query Parameters

Set parameter values for the object query that is initially loaded with the table data.

These are the values that are used in the object query unless an object query action is applied to the control.

  1. In the Mobile Business Object Properties view, select the object query from the Object Query drop-down list.
Note: The Mobile Business Object property page displays when the selected control, such as a table, list detail, is associated with a mobile business object.
  2. Click Initial Parameter Values.
  3. Select the object query value to configure and click Configure.
  4. In the Input dialog, select from these options:
    Option Description
Variable Select to use a variable. Either click Browse to browse for and select existing variables to associate with the parameter, or click New to define a new variable to associate with the object query parameter.
Literal Select to use a fixed value know as a literal.
Personalization key Not supported for object queries.
NULL Use a NULL value assigned to the parameter. When a parameter has a personalization key or default value, and you set the parameter value to null, the explicit sync parameter always overrides the personalization value and default value.
Note: Null does not override personalization key or default values for create, update, and delete operation parameters.
  5. Click OK.
