Customizing the Choice Control Items

Use the Choice Item Configuration dialog to enter items that will appear on the choice control drop-down list.

1. On the Properties page for the choice control, in the Items section, click Add.
2. In the Customize Choice Item dialog, enter:
   • Display Name – the text that appears on the display screen of the client.
   • Value – the internal string to be sent by the client when the choice item is selected by the user.
   • Use Variable – select to associate the item value to an existing variable.
3. (Optional) Click Browse to launch the variable selection dialog if you selected Use Variable in the previous step.
   This button is enabled only if you select Use Variable.
4. Click OK.
   The new choice item appears in the table and on the screen display.
