Selecting the Data Type for Controls

Use the Properties view to select the data type for the control.

1. In the Properties page, from Data Type, select the data type you want to use for the control and click Select if it is enabled.
   The Select button is enabled if you choose any of these data types:

   • Date
   • Time
   • Datetime
2. (Optional) If you clicked Select in the previous step, in the dialog, select the values you want to use for the data type, and click OK.
