Use the Properties view to configure the properties for the menu item.

| Menu Item Name | Display name of the menu item. The name must be unique within a menu and must not be an empty string. |
| Use Variable | Select this checkbox to associate the
text of the menu item with an existing variable. When selected, the menu item
name field is disabled and the menu item name depends on the value of
the selected variable.
Click Browse to select the variable with which to associate the menu item. |
| Available on Control Selection | Select to make the menu items appear at runtime only when the selected control is in focus. This option is disabled if there are no list details on the screen. The drop-down list displays the list details to which you can associate this menu item. |
