Navigation Bar

A navigation bar helps users navigate client screens and keep track of where they are.

By default, the "Add a navigation bar to new screens" option is selected in Device Application Designer Preferences, so adding a new empty screen adds a navigation bar at the top of the new screen automatically. If you unselect the "Add a navigation bar to new screens" option in Preferences, the navigation bar is not added automatically to the screen, so you have to add navigation bar manually.

When using navigation bars, keep in mind:

• The navigation bar is automatically positioned at the top of the screen and fills the width of the screen.
• You can customize the navigation bar style by clicking on the navigation bar and making your changes using the Properties view.
