Stock and Settings Screen Properties

Use the Properties page in Screen Design to configure stock and settings screen properties.

Property types

Note: Properties that you can configure for the stock and settings screens are platform-specific so configurable properties vary depending on the platform.
Type Description
String Defines the text for stock screen properties.
Boolean Set to true to display, or false to not display, the selected stock screen property.
Integer Defines the integer associated with stock screen properties.
Image Defines the image associated with stock screen properties, for example, a banner.
Style This property defines the display style for stock screen properties, for example labels.
Action Defines the actions for the stock screen property. The configurable actions for stock screen properties are restricted to navigation type actions. For example, you can assign control from the stock screen for persisting or submitting an application.
Folder For the BlakcBerry custom code screen, you can select the folder for where to compile resources, source packages, and third party libraries.
File For the BlackBerry custom code screen, you can select the class file that implements the screen.
Option Sets the default log level for the logging screen.

Click the button to perform the corresponding action:

Button Description
Configure Launches the configuration dialog for the selected property.
Customize Enabled for screens with a custom action. The name of the button varies depending on the name given to the custom action. "Customize" is the default.
Create Screen Class This button appears only for Custom Code stock screens. Launches the Custom Code Screen Properties dialog.
Restore Restores the selected item to its default properties.
Restore All Restores all properties to their default settings.
