Updating the Table of Contents Screen

Update the Table of Contents screen to automatically create Go To connections for new screens.

When you use the Table of Contents screen, a list item is created for each screen in the flow design. The name of the screen is used as the name of the list item. You can set a preference in the Device Application Designer preferences for the Table of Contents to use the screen's icon as well as the screen name for the list item. Each of the list items has an action assigned of the type of connection that goes to the screen for that index.

  1. In the Device Application Designer Flow Design page, right-click on the Table of Contents Screen.
  2. Select Update Table of Contents.
    A Go To connection is created for any screen that does not currently have one. Connections are not created for these screens:
    • Login
    • Search
    • Relationship target screens
    • Detail screens that are details on a table screen
    • Any screen with mobile business object table context variables
