Containers

Drag and drop containers from the Palette to the screen design. A container control is used to group child controls together.

Option Description Supported device platform
Region Only Display or Tab controls can contain a region container, which is primarily used to group controls that do not have their own containers.

When the Show border attribute is unchecked, The Region control is represented on the Screen Design page by a rectangle with dotted lines. It is not visible on the device client; it is transparent and shows the background color of its parent (Display or Tab).

All widgets inside the region inherit the alignment property of the Display. Child widgets can override the Display alignment if you set the individual value for the child.
