Problem: You are unable to change another user's password, even though you have been granted the CHANGE PASSWORD system privilege.
This behavior may occur if the CHANGE PASSWORD system privilege was granted outside of SAP Control Center.
When this system privilege is granted using SAP Control Center, it is granted in such a way to allow you to manage the password of any user. However, when granted outside of SAP Control Center, the privilege can be limited to allow password management of select users and roles only.
Solution: Check with the IQ database administrator to verify which user passwords you can manage.
