Allows administrative tasks related to multiplex server management.
The MANAGE MULTIPLEX
system privilege allows a user to:
- Issue multiplex-related CREATE, ALTER, DROP, or COMMENT statements on
logical server policies
- Issue multiplex-related CREATE, ALTER, DROP, or COMMENT statements on
logical servers
- Perform exclusive assignment of a dbspace to logical servers
- Release a populated dbspace from the exclusive use of a logical server
Note: The MANAGE MULTIPLEX system privilege also manages failover
configurations, and is required for a manual failover.
Grant this system privilege using the WITH ADMIN OPTION, WITH NO
ADMIN OPTION, or WITH ADMIN ONLY OPTION clause. If you do not specify a clause, the
default is WITH NO ADMIN OPTION.
