Deleting a Function

Remove a function from an SAP Sybase IQ server.

Prerequisites
Database Version Function Privileges
SAP Sybase IQ 15.3 and 15.4 Requires one of:
  • DBA authority.
  • You own the function.
SAP Sybase IQ 16.0 Requires one of:
  • DROP ANY PROCEDURE system privilege.
  • DROP ANY OBJECT system privilege.
  • You own the function.
Task
  1. In the Perspective Resources view, select the resource and select Resource > Administration Console.
  2. In the left pane, select IQ Servers > Compiled Objects > Functions.
  3. Select one or more functions from the right pane and either:
    • Click the arrow to the right of the name and select Delete, or
    • From the Administration Console menu bar, select Resource > Delete.
    Tip: Use Shift-click or Control-click to select multiple functions.
  4. Click Yes to confirm deletion.
