Deleting a Text Configuration Object

Remove one or more text configuration objects.

Prerequisites

Create a text configuration object.
Authenticate with Sybase IQ using an account that has DBA authority or owns the text configuration object.

Task

From the application menu bar, select View > Open > Administration Console.
In the Administration Console, expand IQ Servers > Schema Objects and select Text Configuration Objects.
In the right pane, select one or more text configuration objects.

Note: You cannot delete the default text configuration objects, default_char and default_nchar.
Select Resource > Delete from the Administration Console’s menu bar.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
