Deleting a Java Class or JAR File

Remove a Java class or JAR file from a Sybase IQ database.

Prerequisites

Authenticate with Sybase IQ using an account that has DBA authority.

Task

You cannot use this procedure to remove a class from a JAR. Instead, update the JAR.

From the application menu bar, select View > Open > Administration Console.
In the Administration Console, expand IQ Servers > External Environments > Java.
Select either:
- Classes or
- JARs
Select a class or jar in the right pane, click the drop-down arrow that appears to the right, and select Delete.
Review the confirmation dialog and click Yes.
