Group Properties

Use the Group Properties window to assign users to a group and change command or object permissions.

Option Database Properties
General
  • Users – to change the users in your group, use:
    • Add – select a user and click Apply to add the user to your group.
    • Remove – select a user and click Apply.
Command Permissions
Permissions to create database objects – select the kind of permissions to grant the group:
  • Create default
  • Create procedure
  • Create rule
  • Create table
  • Create view
  • Create encryption key
Object Permissions

Permissions to access database objects – use the Grant Permission and Revoke Permission wizards to grant or revoke permissions and predicated privileges for specific database operations such as insert, delete, update, reference, and decrypt for specific database objects. Decrypt permission is visible if encrypted columns is enabled in the server. Transfer permission is visible if incremental transfer is enabled on the table.
