Removing a Database Device from a Segment

Using the Segment Properties wizard in the Sybase Control Center, you can remove a database device that is associated with a segment.

1. In the left pane of the Administration Console, expand ASE Servers > Space Management > Segments.
2. In the Name field, select the segment to modify.
3. Click the arrow on the segment and select Properties.
4. In the Devices wizard page, click Remove.
5. Select the database device to remove.
