Sybase Control Center lets you restore (load) a database using a
script.
You cannot load a database backup that was created on a different operating system, or with an earlier version of Adaptive Server.
- In the left pane of the Administration Console, expand .
- Select one of:
- User Databases
- System Databases
- Archive Databases
- In-Memory Databases
- Right-click the Name field of the database you want to
back up.
- Click the arrow and select Restore.
- In the Restore Database wizard, choose from these options:

Script | Click Select script file and browse your directories
to select your script file. |
- (Optional) Click Summary to view your selected
options.
- Click Finish to start the restore process. Sybase Control Center displays restore messages from the Adaptive Server.
