Uninstalling in GUI Mode

Uninstall ExpressConnect for Oracle (ECO) in GUI mode.

Prerequisites

Before uninstalling ECO:

Log in to your machine using an account with administrator privileges.
Shut down all Sybase applications and processes.
Move any log, database, or user-created files that you want to keep from the installation directory to another location.

Task

Invoke the uninstaller.
- On Windows:
  - From the Start menu, select Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. Select Sybase ExpressConnect for Oracle, and click Change/Remove, or,
  - At the command line, enter:
```
RS_installation_directory\sybuninstall\ExpressConnectOracle\uninstall.exe
```
- On UNIX, at the command line, enter:
```
RS_installation_directory/sybuninstall/ExpressConnectOracle/uninstall
```
The Welcome window appears. Click Next to initiate the uninstallation process.
A status bar shows the progress of the uninstallation. When the uninstallation is complete, click Done to exit the uninstaller.
