Mobile Workflow Forms Editor Preferences

Use the Preferences dialog to set the preferences for the Flow Design and Screen Design pages.

Preferences determine the default behavior and style for the Flow Design and Screen Design pages and their objects. These settings affect all instances; to change the style and behavior of an individual object instance, modify its properties in the Properties view.

You can set the following preferences in the Mobile Workflow Forms Editor page and the Screen Design Page:

Screen Design Page

This page and its subpages control global settings for the Flow Design and Screen Design pages of the Mobile Workflow Forms Editor. The page includes these options:

Appearance

Modify the colors and fonts for various Mobile Workflow objects by clicking the color controls, or by selecting Change, and setting the desired color and font.

Connections

When a new connection is created, it follows the default style defined in the preferences settings. You can change the style of the connection line individually in the Flow Design Properties view.

Select the default line style for new connections:

Printing

Set the general printing preferences:

Section Description
Orientation Either portrait or landscape.
Units Either inches or millimeters.
Size Choose one of the available print size. Optionally, override the default width and height values.
Margins Enter a value, in inches, for the margins.

Rulers and Grid

Set the preferences for the ruler and grids:

Section Description
Rulers options To show ruling lines, select Show rulers for new diagram, then select ruler units.
Grid options To modify grid settings, select any of these options:
  • Show grid for new diagrams
  • Snap to grid for new diagrams
  • Snap to shapes for new diagrams

Then, enter the grid spacing.
