Security Configuration Users Not Allowed Domain Access

Problem: An application reports "HTTP/1.1 403 The users of Security Configuration [<MySC>] is not allowed to access SUP Domain [default]."

Explanation: The security configuration may not be assigned to the domain.

Solution:

  1. In Sybase Control Center, select the Security folder under Domains > <DomainName>.
  2. If the required security configuration is not listed, click Assign on the right-side General pane.
  3. Select the security configuration, and click OK.
